ParchiVisa  ·  Legal

Terms of Use

ParchiVisa is an automated readiness assessment. It is not immigration advice, it is not legal advice, and it cannot tell you whether your visa will be granted. These terms set out what the service does, what you may expect from it, and where our responsibility ends.

01

ParchiVisa is not immigration advice

What the service actually does is narrow and worth stating plainly. It compares the answers you supply against published rules and thresholds for the route you select, and it returns a score, a list of gaps, and suggested steps. It is a self-assessment tool. It does not know your case, it cannot ask you follow-up questions the way an adviser would, and it works only from what you type into it.

We do not file applications, book appointments, represent you, or communicate with any embassy, high commission, consulate or government department on your behalf. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any government or any of its agencies.

If your circumstances are complicated — a previous refusal, a deportation or overstay history, a criminal record, a dependant with separate requirements, or anything you are unsure about — consult a regulated immigration adviser in the country you are applying to. Use ParchiVisa to prepare for that conversation, not to replace it.

02

No guarantee of outcome

The output of the assessment is informational. It is our reading of published requirements against the answers you gave, at the time you ran it.

Immigration rules change, frequently and sometimes without notice. We track the sources we cite and record when each was last checked, but we do not warrant that every rule, threshold, fee, processing time or validity window reflected in the service is current or complete at the moment you read it. Always verify anything that matters against the official source, which we link to for exactly that reason.

The assessment is only ever as good as what you put into it. If your answers are inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, the result will be too, and we are not responsible for that.

03

These terms, and who they are between

These terms are an agreement between you and {{LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME}}, a sole proprietorship registered in Pakistan under FBR National Tax Number {{NTN}}, of {{REGISTERED_ADDRESS}}, which operates ParchiVisa at parchivisa.app.

By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. If you are using ParchiVisa on behalf of somebody else — a family member, or a student you are assisting — you confirm that you have their permission to provide their information and that you will show them these terms.

Our Privacy Policy forms part of this agreement and explains what we do with your data. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.

We may change these terms. The version identifier and date at the top of this page change with them, and for a material change we will notify account holders before it takes effect.

04

Your account

You need an account to run an assessment. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us at {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}} if you believe someone else has access to it.

Give us accurate information. The service produces a result from what you tell it, so inaccurate answers produce a worthless assessment — and one you may act on.

Accounts are personal. Do not share yours, and do not run assessments as a service for other people from a single account unless we have agreed to that in writing.

Free accounts are subject to usage limits on the number of readiness checks and reports. We may change those limits.

05

Payment

The readiness check is free. The downloadable Readiness Report is a paid feature, priced at {{PRICE}}, charged as {{BILLING_MODEL}}.

Payments are processed by Gumroad. You provide your payment details to Gumroad directly; we never see or hold your card or bank details. Gumroad’s own terms apply to the payment transaction, alongside these terms.

Your access is unlocked once Gumroad confirms the sale to us, and is revoked if Gumroad subsequently notifies us of a refund, chargeback, dispute or cancellation.

Prices are stated in {{CURRENCY}} and are inclusive of any taxes we are required to charge. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own currency conversion or foreign transaction fees, which we do not control and cannot refund.

06

Refunds

To request a refund, email {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}} from the address on your account, with your Gumroad order number and the reason for the request. We will respond within {{REFUND_RESPONSE_TIME}}, and approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within {{REFUND_PROCESSING_TIME}}.

We will refund you in full, within {{REFUND_WINDOW}} of purchase, if the report failed to generate, if it was materially wrong on the facts you supplied, or if you were charged twice. We are not able to refund on the basis of the outcome of your visa application, because the report never claimed to predict it, nor on the basis of disagreement with a readiness score that was correctly calculated from the answers given.

A refund is not conditional on you giving up a statutory right. If you are a consumer in the UK, the EU or another jurisdiction with mandatory cancellation or refund rights for digital content, those rights apply in addition to this policy, and this section does not reduce them. {{DIGITAL_CONTENT_CONSENT_NOTE}}

You can also raise a refund request directly with Gumroad under their buyer policies.

07

Acceptable use

Use ParchiVisa for its purpose: assessing readiness for a visa application, for yourself or for someone who has asked you to. In using it, you agree not to:

  • Break any law, or use the service to prepare or support a false, fraudulent or misleading visa application.
  • Submit information you know to be untrue, or submit another person’s information without their permission.
  • Present ParchiVisa output as immigration advice, as your own professional assessment, or as though it came from a regulated adviser or from a government body.
  • Resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute the service or its output without our written agreement.
  • Scrape, crawl, bulk-download or systematically extract content, or use automated means to access the service beyond ordinary use.
  • Reverse engineer the service, or attempt to extract the underlying rules, thresholds or scoring logic.
  • Circumvent usage limits, quotas, paywalls or authentication, including by creating multiple accounts to do so.
  • Probe, scan or test the security of the service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to gain access to systems or data that are not yours.
  • Upload malware, or anything designed to disrupt or damage the service or its users.

If you find a security vulnerability, report it to {{SECURITY_CONTACT_EMAIL}} rather than exploiting it or disclosing it publicly. We will not pursue you for good-faith research reported that way.

08

Content and intellectual property

The service, its interface, its rules engine, its scoring logic and the text of its assessments and reports belong to us or to our licensors. Using the service does not transfer any of that to you.

You keep ownership of everything you put in. You grant us the permission we need to process it in order to run the service for you — to produce your assessment, generate your report, and store your history — as set out in the Privacy Policy, and for no other purpose.

Your report is yours to use for your own application. You may show it to an adviser, a sponsor or an institution. You may not publish it as though it were an official document, or as though it carried any government standing.

Where we quote or cite official government sources, those materials belong to their publishers and are used for reference.

09

Availability and changes to the service

We provide the service on an “as available” basis. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may suspend it for maintenance, or to address a security or operational problem.

We may change, add or withdraw features. If we withdraw a paid feature you have already paid for and cannot provide a reasonable equivalent, we will refund the unused portion of what you paid for it.

10

Suspension and termination

You can stop using ParchiVisa at any time, and you can have your account and data deleted by following the process in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms — in particular the acceptable use section — if we are required to by law, or if your use of the service creates a security, legal or operational risk to us or to other users.

Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put the problem right. For a serious breach, in particular use of the service to support a fraudulent application, we may terminate immediately and without notice.

If we terminate your account for a reason that is not your breach of these terms, we will refund the unused portion of anything you have paid. If we terminate it because of your breach, we are not obliged to refund you.

Termination does not affect the sections of these terms that are meant to survive it: intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law.

11

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. If you are a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected by this section.

Subject to that, and because this point is the whole basis on which the service is offered: we are not liable for the outcome of any visa application. That includes a refusal, a delay, a request for further evidence, a cancellation, or any consequence flowing from one — a lost application fee, a lost or deferred university place, lost tuition or accommodation payments, lost travel costs, lost earnings, or a lost academic year.

We are not liable for loss arising from your reliance on the assessment in place of advice from a regulated immigration adviser, nor from a rule, threshold or requirement that changed after we last verified it, nor from inaccurate or incomplete answers you gave the service.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or data, however it arises.

Where we are liable to you, our total liability for all claims connected with the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or {{LIABILITY_FLOOR}}.

12

Your responsibility to us

If a third party brings a claim against us because you used the service to support a false or fraudulent application, because you submitted someone else’s information without their permission, or because you presented our output as regulated immigration advice, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages we incur as a result.

13

Governing law and disputes

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the service, are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The courts of {{GOVERNING_LAW_FORUM}} have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to the paragraph below.

If you are a consumer resident in the UK, the EU, Canada or Australia, nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country in which you live, or of your right to bring proceedings in your local courts where that law gives you that right.

Before starting proceedings, please contact us at {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}}. Most disputes are faster to resolve directly than through a court.

14

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we do not give up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else; we may transfer ours if the business is sold, provided your rights are not reduced.

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the service.
